In Kindergarten, students will be reviewing shapes by making shape robots! Students will practice arranging different shapes!


In First Grade, students will learn about Pablo Picasso. Pablo Picasso owned many different unique animals, such as a goat, monkey, and owl, that inspired his art work. Students will start making their Picasso owl replica.
In Second Grade, students will learn about Pablo Picasso portraits. Students will play Picasso art games and begin their Picasso inspired self portraits.

Coming up this week...
Concert season is heating up and we will be learning new parts to our songs! Scholars will also learn about choral riser safety and get measured for their riser spots.
🎵 Kindergarteners will continue learning Ally Bally Bee and will start Pomme de reinette, a French folk song about apples. Yum yum!
🎵 First Graders will continue to learn The Moon and Un, Deux, Trois, nous irons au bois. Next up will be a lyrical, traditional Latin piece titled, Pie Jesu. English, French, and Latin - oh my!
🎵 So far, our 2nd Graders have knowledge of the fast-paced song The Bells (based on an Edgar Allen Poe poem) and joyful El Desembre CongelatAutumn Vesper, a piece based on an Emily Brontë poem, will be a lovely and lyrical addition to the concert program!

Hello Spartans! 
In 3rd Grade, we will be continuing to learn our Winter Concert selections in both Latin and Spanish. We are going to be starting our 3rd concert selection about a Dala Horse, a traditional carved wooden statue from Sweden.
In 4th Grade, we will continue learning our song “The Winter Owl” - a text written by the great William Shakespeare.
In 5th Grade, we are learning one of our most difficult pieces yet. Not only is the tempo fast with difficult rhythm and changing meters, but it's also in French!

Hello Spartans! 
This week, Spanish class was all about learning the days of the week and the months of the year in thheir Spanish name. Next week, scholars will learn about the four seasons of the year in their Spanish name, and the changes that happen during a season. Scholars are really excited to learn all about Otoño (Fall)!

Hello Families!


This week, our scholars had a quiz and they did awesome! This week we learned about Otoño (Fall). The scholars worked on a Fall project. They learned to ask and answer what they like about Fall. Next week, we will continue talking about Fall and working on how to use adjectives in Spanish.
