This week in kinder, students will start making their Van Gogh Sunflower trinket dish that will be displayed at the art walk in April! 


In first grade, students are working on adding patterns to their Paul Cezanne replicas! Students will spend time brainstorming and planning their patterns before adding them to their final painting! 


In 2nd grade, students have started their Henri Matisse Goldfish art work! We are painting the walls and floor of our art work!

Next week 3rd will continue learning about space and making a foreground; middle ground and background landscape. 

4th will be painting winter birch trees using form and light.

5th will be working on Van Gogh still lifes.

Coming up next week...
To encourage conversations about our upcoming Spring concert, participation letters will be sent home to share the importance of participating in class rehearsals, as well as on stage on concert night. Student and parent signatures will be required on this document. Signed forms will go out on Tuesday (2/6) and must be returned by Friday, February 9.

We will continue our current units on the Solfege syllable re (2nd Grade), the quarter rest (1st Grade), and high vs. low voice (Kinder), in addition to our first to concert songs for each grade!

Last week in music we were able to start our first songs for the spring concert. We also finished up our unit in intervals.

This week in music we will be starting on our second spring concert songs. We will be working on maintaining good intonation, steady rhythm, and dynamic changes. We will also be starting our unit on musical form starting with binary and ternary form.

Hello Spartans!


This week in Spanish class scholars learned all about Spain. Scholars enjoy learning about Spanish speaking countries all over the world. Next week students will learn about prepositional phrases and verbs associated with the five senses to make observations about what they see, smell, taste, hear and touch.

Hi Spartans!

This past week your scholars had a blast playing some soccer scrimmages. The transition stage from soccer to volleyball will begin and this upcoming week your scholars will be learning a hand, catch and throw game. This game is to sharpen our hand eye coordination and grow our catching/throwing skills.

Hello Spartans,

For 4th and 5th grades I will  implement a document that requires parent signature, if a student was unable to participate fully in P.E. class due to not following instructions.

Last week scholars enjoyed playing Team Handball.

This week we will be running at various speeds & pathways while holding a football.
