This week in art:

Kinder is finishing up their Paul Cezanne pear painting! Students will also learn about Claude Monet and we will start our water lily replica!

1st grade will continue learning about Marc Chagall. We will start our Marc Chagall whimsical city!

2nd grade is finishing up their Matisse fish bowl. This week we are adding our goldfish and finishing touches to make sure it is ready for the artwalk in April!

Hello Spartan Families! Thank you so much for signing the participation letters that went out a couple of weeks ago! Singing participation is critical to help our scholars have a fun and successful concert, and to help foster a love of music!

This last week, 2nd Grade began their unit on the 16th note pattern, 1st grade began their unit on the Solfege syllable la, and Kindergarten began their unit on Fast and Slow tempo!

Next week, each grade will begin their third concert piece for the Spring Concert. Kazoos have been ordered for 2nd grade and scholars will have auditions in the next two weeks!
