Spartan Singers... We are nearly there! The Winter Concert is FAST approaching and soon we will be in full grade rehearsals, putting all of our singing parts together! 
This week, we will be focusing on memorizing our melodies and lyrics without teacher prompts, and adding in phrasing and dynamics to make our songs come alive.

Families, communication will be shared with more information about our K-2 Concert on January 31st, 2025. We can't wait to share what the scholars have worked so hard on! We will see you in less than 55 days!

Happy December, Spartans!

In 3rd-5th grade music, we are busy preparing for our Winter Concert! It is hard to believe, but we are already so close to January! Please continue helping your scholars to get excited for the concert and ask them to give you a sneak peak of one of their favorite songs by singing it at home! We hope to see you all on January 30, 2025!


We are also working hard on reviewing all of the music theory, music history, and music appreciation topics we have learned so far this year. To wrap up the semester, next week, all classes will have fun reviewing what we have learned together in 2024 to prepare our brains for more fun musical knowledge when we return in 2025!

Spartans! The end of our Soccer unit has come and we will be transitioning to a new sports unit after the winter break. This upcoming week we will be doing our unit review stations! (Jump rope, Scooters, Basketball, Soccer shots etc.). Reviewing our newly learned sports unit of Soccer will be the goal of this upcoming week.

I have been incredibly proud to see Kindergarteners, 1st Graders, and 2nd Graders putting their all into our short class rehearsals. Continue to use your practice recordings to memorize the lyrics and melodies. Families, please remind your scholar(s) to use the virtue of wisdom while we're on our rehearsal risers.
