This week, we read Round is a Mooncake , a story that helped us find shapes all around us. Inspired by the book, we’ll be creating our own goldfish bowls using the shapes we’ve learned about! In First Grade , our artists are diving into the world of Pablo Picasso! We will learn about his style and create our own replicas of his beautiful painting, Mother and Child (1922). In Second Grade , we’re learning all about Picasso’s Cubism! We’ll start with a fun game called “Roll a Picasso,” where we’ll roll dice to create unique Picasso-style faces. Then, we’ll move on to creating our own Picasso-inspired self-portraits, experimenting with shapes and different perspecti
